We need artistic people to HELP please.
We have set up an online shop with Cafe Press to sell stuff to raise funds for the CF Trust, however I am useless at designing things and pictures of Naomi (whilst cute) don't make a good LOGO so I am asking for any help from anyone to design something that says Naomi's Fight or looks really cool. I can upload a lot of different designs (5 I think, maybe more) that can be put on t-shirts, mugs, teddy bears etc. so GET DESIGNING please.
Please keep the design as a JPG or PSD file and large without compression, don't use anyone else's copyright and keep it clean. Any good ones will go straight onto the site as soon as I get the file (so email me it please) where anyone can buy it. Prices are in dollars but I've heard good stuff about this site. Studio 24 have agreed to host an annual Birthday Bash for Naomi every September starting in 2009. This will take the form of a charity concert and be promoted through this website, although we will only be using the smaller room holding up to 200. More details nearer the time.
Studio 24 is located on Calton Road, Edinburgh. The venue has regular Friday (dance) and Saturday (Rock) night clubs, with Saturday also hosting Mini-Mission for the Under 18 rockers.
Studio 24 will be hosting a rock night for New Year and are planning to raise funds for Naomisfight and Cystic Fibrosis.
How to get to Studio 24.
There are a number of options depending how well you know the city and how you are travelling.
By ROAD from Holyrood Palace, Calton Rd is parallel to the Royal Mile with the entrance being opposite Queens Marys Bath House. From Royal Mile turn left at the roundabout and left again. From Leith Street facing Princes St, Calton Rd is on the left just after the entrance to the Omni Car Park. There is some on street parking outside the venue, but you can park in the Holyrood Parking area and walk round.
By BUS the number 35 goes down the Royal Mile, get off on Cannongate or Holyrood Palace and walk down to Calton Rd. OR any bus taking you to Leith St and the Omni centre and walk down Calton Rd.
By TRAIN to Waverley Train Station. Walk past the St James Centre on Leith St (use the opposite side of the road for safety crossing) and take the next road on the right at the Black Bull, this is Calton Rd.
The Black Rose Tavern is located on Rose St, Edinburgh. This is our local Rock Pub and has supported us all the way through the campaign so far. Including hosting the raffle nights, and Tommy's Haircut.
